How to get to the Faculty of Arts

Transportation from Václav Havel Airport to the city centre

During daytime (4:16 – 23:34):

You should get on the bus number 119 at Terminál 1/ Terminál 2/ Terminál 3 station (depends on where you land) and get off the bus at Dejvická station, where you transfer to the underground line A – Dejvická station. This line will get you to the city centre. The place of the event (Faculty of Arts) is located at Staroměstská station on the underground line A.

At night (23:35 – 4:15)

You should get on the bus number 510 at Terminál 1/ Terminál 2/ Terminál 3 station (depends on where you land). This bus will get you to the city centre.

General information about Prague public transport

Prague public transport includes underground (metro), trams, buses, funicular to Petřín, boats across Vltava and trains within Prague.



Ticket sales:


-          You can buy tickets from the driver or you can use yellow ticket vending machines that are installed at some stops.

-          The price is 32Kč / 90 minutes.

 -          You may be checked by an inspector any time during your ride; an unstamped ticket is invalid.

You can use taxi service for getting around Prague as well. We recommend that you use our sponsor SEDOP TAXI PRAHA. Use the password CISL. The special price is only applicable to participants, who tell the password to the operators when ordering the taxi, telling it only to the driver is too late. If you wish to use taxis during you stay in Prague, you can also use the password CISL and get a price of 19 Kč per kilometer.
